I wrote this email to promote ACerS 6th Ceramic Business and Leadership Summit. This particular meeting had some challenges, including its name and the general focus of the meeting. To help give it a fresh feel and break away from past meetings, I changed the graphics for this meeting. With the help of our graphic designer, I added the three buttons that linked to the speakers, workshops, and meeting pages, and wrote a letter that potential attendees could personalize and send to their boss, highlighting the positive reasons of attending the meeting. I later added similar letters to all the meetings, as it was very well received.
This was the first meeting that I developed individual speaker webpages, instead of having them all on one page with their synopsis. I also included registration links at the bottom of each speaker page to increase registration. It was very well received by the speakers and audience, with the hopes of creating excitement and prestige to be a speaker at future meetings.
Lastly, each speakers headshot was made to be circles for the first time. This small change also helped to freshen up the meeting, and give it a sophisticated look and feel.
